Spanish Steps Photos

Spanish Steps beach through the trees at the top of the cliff, just before the hike begins

Spanish Steps cove, looking toward the beach

Looking out to sea from the cove

Josh inspecting one of the many large coral formations peppered throughout the cove

Standing in the water, looking back towards the beach of the cove

A speedy Moorish Idol

An unidentified fish swimming past some coral

A slimy sea slug...if you make the mistake of stepping on one, it squirts out sticky stuff that is quite difficult to remove, so look out!

Some electric blue fish, an antisocial tan fish, and more coral

The ruins of the Spanish well in the jungle

A beautiful butterfly was kind enough to pose for us

The beginning of the hike up the cliff

Mandi demonstrating the use of the rope on the climb up the cliff...just before the rain began...

These are such incredibly beautiful photos--they look like something from calendar pages! Excellent job. What a beautiful place. Living in a place like that will definately put a damper on travel, as it will be hard to find a place to outdo that!
We love you--Mom
